Belinda Council

Belinda Council believes in advocating for the community and fostering great relationships. She has served on the board of Curries Woods Housing Authority Under the Urban Development Hope 6 Remodeling of the Community and Home Ownership Program.

Belinda is also the founder of Hunger Free Holland, which began as a community pantry for the residents of Holland Garden. In addition, Belinda serves as a Hudson County Democratic Committeewoman and in her most recent works, she spearheaded the Women Empowerment Breakfast, holiday Gospel concerts, Black History programs, the Dr. Martin Luther King Community Awards Breakfast, Stop the Violence Rally at the Jersey City Hub, and has advocated for the development of Youth Programs. She is a 2022 Women of Action.
