Chelsea Duffy, founding member and Vice Chair of the Jersey City Women’s Advisory Board, has been a resident of Bergen-Lafayette since 2016. Since then,

Chelsea has worked locally as a sales & marketing freelancer, while building her JC based, woman-owned business, Local Modiv.

Before becoming an entrepreneur, Chelsea spent a decade in the professional sports arena where she gained front-office experience with the NY Jets, NY Yankees, NY Rangers/MSG and NASCAR. Chelsea graduated from West Virginia University with a degree in Sports Management and a minor in Communications.

Chelsea’s goals have always centered around women breaking the glass ceiling and taking what’s rightfully theirs. Being familiar with the struggles women face in male-dominated industries, Chelsea can speak to equal pay issues and women’s mistreatment in the workforce.   Chelsea is  also a Certified Mental Health First Aider.

Over the last few years, Chelsea has woven herself into the community by bringing locals together for women-centric events, coat drives, educational panels and more. In her spare time, you can catch Chelsea volunteering as a mentor for the non-profit, “Save a Few” and the Lady Lions Basketball team.
