Tere Fox has been a Jersey City resident for close to fifteen years collectively.
She is admin for our local Jersey City Mom community group since 2021 and has been on the moderator team since 2016. 


She is also admin for Jersey City Parents, Hoboken Mamas, and Hoboken+Jersey City Mommy groups. Being a community leader is extremely dear to her because bringing parent communities together is essential in these chapters of our lives. We need friends, we need to be supportive of our neighbors, we need to support one another as we can, and support our local small businesses and that is what you find time and time again in her communities. Her For years, her communities rally multiple times a year to fundraiser and gather donations and family necessity items for families in need as well as host hundreds of FREE and low costs events for all. 


She is also a wedding caterer/ Chef/ Nutritionist/ Business owner of Jam Cakery Events, Jersey City’s one and only fully allergy friendly and vegan offering bakery+event venue. 


In 2023 she was awarded Jersey City Woman of Action, nominated by Council President Joyce Watterman for my community work with Jersey City Moms. And in 2023, she received a proclamation from Hudson County and Comissioner O’Dea for her community leadership and service.


Beyond all of that, she is a mom of two tweens and loves living in the Bergen-Lafayette neighborhood.
