Founded in 2022 with a motion passed by the Jersey CIty Council and signed off on by Mayor Steven Fulop, the Jersey City Women's Advisory board was the brain child of Jersey City Council President Joyce Watterman, and we thank her for her vision, wisdom & exemplary leadership. Her intention behind creating the Women’s Advisory Board is to provide women a seat at the table, where their voices, thoughts, and opinions are acknowledged.
